Wonder Weekend Returns! Wonder What’s Going on in Downtown Petoskey? Wonder what you could actually learn by shopping downtown? Wonder what surprises can be found inside of the unique and quaint shops we love so much? Well, wonder no more! Downtown Petoskey Wonder Weekend is March 1st and 2nd, 2008. Come Downtown and be amazed at all of the wonderful things going on.
The Downtown Events Committee is very excited about the return of Wonder Weekends and eager to showcase some of the many fine businesses that can be found Downtown. Angie Ross, Downtown Events Committee Chair, explains, “It seems that Downtown is busy and full of shoppers during the summer months and for several weeks during the winter season, and there is no doubt that the tourists and resort community realize what a great place Downtown is, but we needed a way to remind the local community how great a resource they have right outside their doors. Wonder Weekend seems like a perfect way to get the message out that Downtown offers wonderful opportunities and possibilities for everyone all year long.”
The concept of Wonder Weekend is a full two days of “classes” at local businesses. The schedule will include a variety of “subjects” that will appeal to all ages and interests.
