A Sparkle Party with author Amy Young!!

We will have activities and a craft as well as storytime celebrating the latest Sparkle book. And, the best part? Cupcake decorating is the snack for this fun morning! Amy Young is one educated woman! She went to the Cleveland Institute of Art, Yale University (BA), Indiana University (MFA in painting), and Harvard Law (JD). After practicing law for seven years, Amy “retired” to follow her true passion -– being a fulltime illustrator. As an illustrator, she has worked for many corporate clients, including The New York Times, Child magazine, The Chicago Tribune, and The Boston Globe Magazine. Amy lives in Spring Lake, Michigan with her talented husband, Paul; her cat Xena, Warrior Princess (the feline formerly known as Lady Gaga); and her oh-so-elegant dog, Sophie Rose
