Epic Walloon: Connections to Place by: John Farner

“Epic Walloon: Connections to Place" is a film project that explores the deep connections people share with a place called Walloon Lake.
As far as the plot, it’s really a basic love story: The main character is the lake, and the love of the lake forged from memories and experiences rooted in family, the physical environment and all the wonderful time spent in, on and around this special body of water.
This is not a historical documentary nor is it a commercial promotional film. It is rather a film that weaves the physical beauty of the place with audio recordings of what people say makes it so special to them. This story can be told in countless places, it just happens to be the place we know and love.”
Admission is free and there will be free snacks and popcorn. There will be a cash bar available as well.
