Holiday Open House and Santa Parade

The Holiday Open House & Santa Parade, held the Friday after Thanksgiving, is a tradition in Boyne City and that tradition continues this year.
To make it a true community celebration of the season, everyone is invited to participate - from businesses and organizations with floats, to children dressed in their holiday finest, to businesses offering great shopping, refreshments and hospitality. The goal is to fill Boyne City's downtown with all the sounds, sights, and smells of the Christmas season. The open house begins at 5 p.m. and includes the lighting of the Community Christmas Tree, caroling and treats.  The evening's special guest is the Jolly Old Man from the North. Santa will arrive on his sleigh, joined by some of his elves, and some reindeer from the North Pole. The parade starts at 6 p.m. and will follow Lake Street to Water Street through the heart of downtown Boyne City.
