North Central Michigan College’s Luncheon Lectures

North Central Michigan College’s Luncheon Lecture will take a look at "Health Care and Culture in Afghanistan" on March 16. The program will be held in the Library Conference Center on the Petoskey campus. Lunch begins at 11:30 am and the program begins at 12:15 pm.
Joseph Taylor, Commander, US Navy (retired), will discuss the lessons learned from his participation in the U.S. military medical advisory mission to improve the healthcare capabilities of the Afghan National Security Forces.  He will describe the challenges (often humorous) of merging the Western healthcare model with those of Afghanistan
