Join author Paul Dimond and co-author/poet Martha Buhr Grimes for a reading from their book, The Belle of Two Arbors.
The Belle of Two Arbors has been called "An ingenious feat of fictional biography... a new American fable" by Theodore Rosengarten, National Book Award All God's Children: The Life of Nate Shaw and MacArthur Fellow. The story focuses on Belle, who grows up in Glen Arbor at the turn of the twentieth century and her journey through life as she struggles to find her place in a changing world and make her voice heard. The authors will read selected scenes from the book along with works from Robert Frost, both which touch upon northern Michigan.
Following the reading, a book signing will be available for those wishing to purchase a copy.
This event is free of charge, and takes place from 4-6pm in The Sagamore Room at the Inn at Bay Harbor.  Please RSVP to mfruge@innatbayharbor.com or by calling 231.439.4026
