NEW DATE - Entrepreneur Club of Emmet County presents "An Entrepreneurial Expo"

To celebrate national Entrepreneur Month, the ECEC will be presenting an EXPO featuring businesses and organizations designed to help with the success of small businesses.

The Entrepreneur Club is open to all prospective, new, or existing businesses in Emmet county and the sessions are free of charge.The mission of the Entrepreneur Club is to help existing and future business owners grow their businesses by learning from one another. There will be time devoted to each meeting for entrepreneurs to get to know one another, ask questions, and share sales leads. Each meeting will have a theme with a featured facilitator who will lead a discussion on a topic relevant to running a business.

Connecting Women in Business Makeover Unveiling/Networking Night

Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce group, Connecting Women in Business (CWIB), is hosting a networking night for women on Tuesday, March 15 from 5-7:30 p.m. at Ozone, Odawa Casino Resort. A networking night is a great way to meet women in the area and make new contacts. The networking night will also feature “makeover madness” unveiling for lucky area women.

The unveiling of the makeovers will begin at 5:30 p.m. and for maximum effect, will feature the “before” pictures broadcast on all the televisions in Ozone, and then the makeover winners will be introduced and showcase their “after” results. The cost is $20 per person and includes heavy appetizers and a ticket for a glass of wine or beer.

Makeover chances are sold by CWIB, as a fundraiser for their GO-Grants program. The GO Grants, or Girls Outreach Grants, reaches out to young girls in our area who have an idea and passion to try something new. Full details can be obtained from the chamber. Grants will range from $100 to $500, and can be used as resources in any field of endeavor. Family Night at Solace Spa - Relax with Your Children

This evening is a chance to share healthy lifestyle habits with your children. According to the American Medical Association, stress is a factor in more than 75 percent of illnesses today. Start your youth out on the right foot to a long and joyous life. Our beautiful salon is always open to guests of all ages. This evening our exclusive spa, typically reserved for guests ages 16 and up will be opened to any guest age 6 or older (accompanied with their guardian).

A Spa Pass for Family Night is $5 per person (discounted from $25)
Spa Member Families are complimentary.

Evening spa pass includes a 30-minute family style yoga class at 7 p.m., a locker, robe, and access to the relaxation lounges, whirlpool, steam room and cedar sauna, indoor / outdoor pool and state-of-the-art fitness facilities.
