Bay Harbor Home Tour

Bay Harbor Home Tour, in Bay Harbor. The 9th Annual Bay Harbor Home Tour will take place Saturday, September 15.  Enjoy a trolley ride through the lovely community of Bay Harbor, stopping along the way to some magnificent homes all while benefitting the Bay Harbor Foundation.  There will be four times available for the tour: 9am, 11am, 1pm and 3pm.

2012 Dark Sky Events, TRUE-BLUE WITH THE PERSEID METEOR SHOWERS: August is full of exciting astronomy, including the most prevalent meteor shower of the season, the Perseids, and this year's only Blue Moon. Perseids are expected to be favorable this year, given their proximity to New Moon Beginning at 9 p.m. The events take place rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, programs take place inside the Beach House.  The Headlands is located at 7725 East Wilderness Park Drive, Mackinaw City. Smile Train Benefit Concert

Petoskey High School Student Council members Carter Cohen and Kelly Ronquist are presenting a benefit concert with funds going to the charity Smile Train. Smile Train is a charity which raises money to provide surgeries to people with cleft lips or palates. All proceeds from the concert will go to Smile Train. The concert will showcase students, teachers and dancers from the dance department at the Crooked Tree Arts Center. Other local performing artists include Graham Young, Ruby Williams, Meg Kehoe and the Petoskey Steel Drum Band Ensemble - plus many more.

Tickets are available at the Crooked Tree Arts Center Front Desk. All tickets are general admission at $10 each.

From Farm to Frame: Ripe Moments through the Lens

Call for Artists!!

Photography Contest & Exhibition focusing on three different categories of entry: From the Farm, From the Table, and From the Market. All photographs must be taken in Emmet or Charlevoix counties and must not have been previously exhibited at Crooked Tree Arts Center.

Submissions will be accepted from June 1st through September 14th.

Women in the Wild: Map and Compass

The Outfitter of Harbor Springs hosts a Women in the Wild map and compass workshop on Friday, June 1 from 11:00am-1:00pm at the Offield Nature Preserve. Learn the basics of this essential backcountry skill through hands-on practice! Open to women of all ages who want to get outdoors, explore and gain skills together. No experience needed.
