Shakespeare's 'Twelfth Night' Performance

Interlochen launches our first Shakespeare Festival with one of the Bard's funniest tales of love and mistaken identity. Surrealist painter Rene Magritte provides inspiration for the imaginary setting of Illyria, in a production directed by William Church.

  • Parade at 6 pm - Route runs from North Central Michigan College, follows Howard St north, ends at Pennsylvania Park on East Lake St
  • Entertainment at the Waterfront begins at 7 pm. Performance by Northern Nites. Concessions provided by local Vietnam Veterans. Ice Cream Social at Little Traverse Regional Historical Society Museum from 7 to 8:30 pm.
  • Fireworks will begin at dusk (approximately 10:30pm)
