Join the Village at Bay Harbor for the annual 4th of July parade which is as unique as it is fun! Decorated Gem Cars, Segways, Bikes, Horses, as well as a special appearance by the Petoskey High School Marching Band! Bring the family down to watch this fun and festive parade.
Join the Petoskey Mossbacks Vintage Base Ball team on the Fourth of July for a great evening of fun.
This special race raises proceeds for the Harbor Springs High School Track and Cross Country Teams. Scroll to the bottom of this page for an information sheet and the registration form.
Dog Look-a-Like Contest
Put on by the Little Traverse Bay Humane Society, this is a great time to get you and your dog dressed in matching duds and show your patriotism.
Fourth of July Parade (1:00 pm - East to West on Main Street and West to East on Bay Street)
The Fourth of July parade in Harbor Springs is a true American event where families come from all over northern Michigan to celebrate together in our small town. The parade begins at 1pm at Zoll and Main Streets and heads west on Main to State Street, then down to Bay Street where is winds back east to Zoll Street. Excellent viewing spots are available all along Main, State and Bay Streets.
Parade of Bagpipers
After the parade, enjoy the march of the bagpipers as they make their way down Bay Street and march right through Stafford's Pier Restaurant before a brief dining room concert.
The Keelhauler's Live On Dudley's Deck
Join a Harbor Springs classic music group, The Keelhaulers, as they play classics from the 60's and 70's on Dudley's Deck, overlooking Little Traverse Bay at Stafford's Pier Restaurant.
City of Harbor Springs Fireworks Display
There's nothing better than sitting in the grass on a warm July evening an watching the bright lihts of the annual fireworks display. Please check back later for information on the sequence of displays and whether Harbor Springs or Petoskey will take the lead with their displays.

Running races, a parade, craft fair, carnival, and fireworks are just beginning of events held on this community's Fourth of July
The Petoskey Area traditionally holds their events in evening on the Fourth of July. The evening begins with a parade through downtown beginning at 6 pm, followed immediately by entertainment at Bayfront Park. Live music and performances are held at the waterfront, followed by Fireworks at dusk.
