Street Musique

Come to downtown Harbor Springs from June 28 – August 30 for street performances from fabulous local musicians each Thursday evening in the summer, from 7 to 9 pm. Shop the great boutiques, dine in or out at wonderful restaurants, wander the main dock and enjoy summer the way it was meant to be enjoyed!

Head down to the First Presbyterian Church on the corner of Mitchell and Division Streets in downtown Petoskey for the Dixieland Worship Service and Concert featuring the Epsilon Jass Band and Petoskey Second Line each Thrusday through July and August.

All proceeds go to the Deacon's Fund - which goes to benefit local charities.

Harlem Globetrotters

The Globetrotters new Legend Series will feature Harlem Globetrotter Legends Curly Neal and Sweet Lou Dunbar.  Fans will experience a once in a lifetime chance to meet Globetrotter Legends and hear firsthand about life as a world famous Harlem Globetrotter. The legends will share exciting and humorous stories from their favorite touring days, precious Globetrotter history, team highlights and much more. Take a look back at the world’s most famous basketball team on Thursday, August 2 at 1:00 p.m. at John M. Hall Auditorium.  Tickets for the Globetrotter Legend Series start at $20.00 and are available at the box office or www.bayviewfestival.tix.com. 

Included in the summer festival the Globetrotters will also showcase their high flying dunks and entertaining brand of basketball at Petoskey High School at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 2 and Saturday, August, 4. Tickets start at $25.00 and are on sale at www.ticketweb.com, the box office, YMCA of Northern Michigan or the Petoskey Chamber of Commerce.

Tuesday, July 31
Globetrotter Previews: 11:00 a.m.-Noon & 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Mackinac Island High School. General admission tickets are $20.00 and go on sale June 15 online at Ticketweb.com or the Mackinac Island Tourism office.

Wednesday, Aug. 1
Game: 7:00 p.m. at Harbor Springs High School.  Tickets start at $25.00 and go on sale June 15 online at Ticketweb.com, the Harbor Springs Chamber of Commerce, or the Northern Michigan YMCA in Petoskey.

Thursday, Aug. 2
• Summer Skills Clinic for kids ages 6-14: 9:00-10:00 a.m., hosted by the Bay View Association. Cost is $15.00 and limited to the first 75 kids. Registration starts June 15 at the Bay View Association box office.
• Harlem Globetrotters lecture series, with Curly Neal: 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Bay View Hall Auditorium. Tickets available at the Bay View Association box office starting June 15.
• Game: 7:00 p.m. at Petoskey High School. Tickets start at $25.00 and are on sale now at Ticketweb.com, the Petoskey Chamber of Commerce, or the Northern Michigan YMCA in Petoskey.

Friday, Aug. 3
Game: 7:00 p.m. at Charlevoix High School. Tickets start at $25.00 and are on sale now at Ticketweb.com or the Charlevoix Chamber of Commerce.

Saturday, Aug. 4

Little Traverse Youth Choir Tryouts

The Little Traverse Youth Choir will be holding tryouts at the Cross of Christ Lutheran Church located at 1450 E. Mitchell on Saturday, September 8 from 10-11 am and then on Monday September 10 from 4-5pm. They will be holding tryouts for the Treble Choir - 8 to 12 years old and the Touring Choir - 12 to 19 years old. they are plainng an international 10 day tour during June of 2013 in French Canada.

PHSCF - Annual Meeting

38th Annual Polish Festival
August 2nd - 5th, 2012

Location: Boyne Falls
This is a Northern Michigan tradition in Boyne Falls you don't want to miss. Polish food and Polish music are just the beginning. There’s also a carnival, horse and tractor pulls, an oldies night, parades and a motor cycle show. Bring your polka shoes and plan on having a blast. Hours each day are generally 11am to 11 pm.
