Grateful Dog Walk & Run

Event: Grateful Dog Walk & Run - 5K/10K

The Grateful Dog Walk & Run is both fun and exciting as you experience running or walking with your dog on the picturesque trails of Nub's Nob in support of the Little Traverse Bay Humane Society. If you don't have a dog and would like a friend to walk or run with, our shelter dogs will be barking for your companionship.
Ask your family, friends and neighbors to sponsor you and your dog while you walk. If you choose to run, registration is $35.00. Prizes will be awarded for the participants who raise the most in donations. Great vendors will be on hand to offer anything you may need for both animal care and running/walking gear.
The morning begins with a 9:30 registration. The 5K and 10K runners start at 10:30 followed by the walkers at 10:40. Upon your return, you can cool down with refreshments while enjoying Deter's Dad's grilled hot dogs.
