Boyne Mountain 70th Anniversary Celebration

A single dollar and 40 acres of land was just the beginning for Boyne Mountain resort pioneer, Everett Kircher. Now seven decades later, Boyne celebrates the weekend that put the first skiers at the summit of the famed Hemlock. With every turn and every year, the mountain continues to inspire those that share a passion for adventure to enjoy life's simple pleasures together with family and friends.
The lifts will spin for 70 hours straight! Gather a team for this amazing fundraising event for Challenge Mountain and raise money for an important community cause. The 70-hour challenge is slated to take place starting at 4pm on Wednesday, January 9 and concludes at 2pm on Saturday, January 12. Register for the challenge here.
*Discounted 4-day lift ticket only available online when you sign up before 3pm on January 9 - all proceeds from lift tickets donated to Challenge Mountain.
*Vintage Party - Friday, 9pm-2am. Dress up in your favorite throwback ski gear and let loose at the Snowflake Lounge. Prizes for best dressed.
*Mountain Challenge Party - Saturday, noon-5pm. Celebrate the fundraising efforts of our 70 Hour Mountain Challenge participants in the Mountain Express base area.
* 70th Anniversary Party - Saturday, 4pm-2am. All-inclusive progressive dinner that takes you from the iconic Clock Tower Lodge lobby to a traditional family-style dinner at Stein Eriksen's with a grand finish at the Snowflake Lounge, complete with fireworks and a champagne toast to 70 years strong.
*Torchlight Parade & Fireworks - Saturday, 9pm.
