February Swirl

Join Crooked Tree for an artsy cocktail hour where you can enjoy wine, beer, appetizers, live music, and art exhibitions – a delicious blend of art, libations, and fun! Tickets are $15 per person and include appetizers and one drink ticket, with a cash bar to follow. Doors open for Swirl at 5:30 p.m. with food and music going until 7 p.m.

NEW TO SWIRL- CANTINA!
Things are heating up at CTAC for February's Swirl with a new offering - Cantina - on Thursday, February 27 at 5:30 p.m.! Chef Chris Rutkowski, the new chef and owner at Cantina, is creating a festive menu featuring modern Mexican cuisine with farm-to-table roots. Cantina sources fresh produce and ingredients from the local farms and purveyors of Northern Michigan. Get a taste of Cantina's classic cooking and modern interpretations of Pacific Coast cuisine at Swirl! Wine, beer and specialty recipe margaritas are one the menu.
ART
Check out the new exhibition, The Guild Member Salon Show. This invitational exhibit showcases work created by current CTAC Artist Guild Members. More than 100 artists from 34 cities are participating in this premier event. A wide variety of media, creative approaches, and subject matter will be on display.
MUSIC
A little salsa with your salsa? Get ready to hit that Latin beat with Botala! Greg Vadnais blends the sounds of traditional Afro-Cuban and Brazilian music with house and Afro Beat, including live percussion and live looping - a "DJ project with live elements".
Tickets usually sell out the day of Swirl, so get yours in advance.  All tickets purchased online or on the telephone will be held at the door.
