Jean Smart Book Signing

On Wednesday, August 22nd between 2:00 and 4:00pm Nancy Whitmyer ( Jean Smart) will be in the store signing copies of her book, Journey to Myself: The Long Way Around. This is a free event, reservations are unnecessary.
Journey to Myself is a memoir of growth, love, and acceptance. It is a story about a woman who struggles to juxtapose her sexuality with her Christian faith. Born and raised in an era when diversity was not accepted or celebrated, Jean Smart’s path to self-acceptance and love is long and winding. For decades, she lives behind a mask that society expects, while hiding her inner struggle to accept who she is. Above all, Smart’s journey is a story of perseverance and trust in God—and a reminder that often it is most difficult to love one’s self.
