Youth Rugby Clinic

This summer, on Saturday, June 22, the YMCA of Northern Michigan will be hosting a Youth Rugby Clinic at Boyne Mountain Village Fields for youth ages 7-13 from 9:00am-3:00pm. All participants will receive lunch and a t-shirt with registration.

The clinic is a one-day introduction to the sport of rugby where youth will get a chance to learn basic skills like ball handling, running drills, and tackling technique with pads. It will be led by passionate professional rugby coaches representing from around the world (Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, & USA!) who are volunteering their time to bring this sport to our northern Michigan community and is sure to be a unique and fun opportunity for all. Participants will also have an opportunity to play a tag rugby match and participate in a kicking competition after lunch!
